Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Wright moved to the Pacific Northwest at age 21, attended Bellevue Community College and graduated from the University of Oregon. In 1989, she graduated with honors from Oregon Health & Science University. She is known as a lifelong learner and continuing education junkie, taking more than 100 hours of CE annually. Dr. Wright is a past MasterTrack Director for Oregon AGD’s MasterTrack Program.
Dr. Wright earned the prestigious Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2011. She has actively served professional associations in leadership roles, such as the past president of the Oregon AGD and past trustee for the Oregon Dental Association (ODA). In 2023 she was awarded the Thaddeus Weclew Award from the Academy of General Dentistry for her outstanding leadership in continuing education development.
Wright is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, and the American College of Dentists. Caring for patients and caring for our profession are her passions.
Dr. Wright’s husband is Noel Tenoso, a private practice physical therapist and the former co-owner of Advance Sports and Spine Therapy, now Fyzical. They have two daughters; their oldest daughter Andie, is an associate producer at MACRO Media in Los Angeles. Their youngest Dana, is entering her career field in social work. The family enjoys traveling, cooking, eating of course and exploring the great outdoors.
